The field house is a $40 million, 90,000-square-foot structure that will feature five full-field football and track and field practice fields, and a 15-yard, eight-lane, synthetic turf football field.
The building, designed by HNTB, will also be used by the school’s softball and women’s soccer teams and be home to the men’s and women’s basketball teams.

Intermittent preventive treatment with sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine (IPTp-SP) is the recommended regimen for the prevention of malaria in pregnancy, and is now recommended as an option for infants and children in several WHO-recommended national policies. Few studies have evaluated the costs of IPTp-SP for children in low-resource settings, however, and none have used a health system perspective. We conducted a cost-effectiveness study of IPTp-SP among infants aged 6-59 months in rural Burkina Faso, using routine programme data. We compared costs and outcomes with the costs and outcomes of a standard programme of dihydroartemisinin-piperaquine (DP). From a health system perspective, the incremental cost of providing IPTp-SP versus DP was US$6 per child. IPTp-SP increased the cumulative incidence of malaria at 15 months by 3.2% (95% CI -7.7, 2.4%). This difference was reflected by an additional 0.06 episodes per child-year of follow-up. The incremental cost-effectiveness ratio (ICER) of IPTp-SP was US$6 per additional malaria episode prevented. We conclude that IPTp-SP is a cost-effective means of improving the health of infants and children living in rural areas of sub-Saharan Africa.Manage your subscription
